Photo Story Friday!

PhotoStory Friday
Hosted by Cecily and MamaGeek

Another fun post I saw and wanted to try but I couldn't really think of any photos that I took that I could use, so I just decided to use the pictures I took of the kids' newly decorated room and beds, since I planned on sharing those anyway.
The "story" behind the pictures I wanted to tell I guess is just that we recently decorated the kids' room.

Spongebob on Dallas' side...

And Disney Princess on Kaelynn's side...

We're not completely done but I still like them for now. We live in an apartment so we can't really paint or anything. Plus I want to wait for that until we move into a house anyways. Which will hopefully be early next year.
Anyways, I also wanted to say that I am extremelllllllly happy about this recent redecorating for a great reason! My son has been co-sleeping with hubby & I since he was born. (Not Kae though.. she's been complete opposite and loves to sleep in her own bed) Well, we've tried everything since moving here to get him to sleep in his own bed. YEP! The spongebob bed and room must've done the trick because he's been sleeping in his bed every night for the last week. And not only is he sleeping in his bed through the whole night.. he's going in there and falling asleep all by himself! Before, if I wanted him to sleep in there I'd have to wait until he fell asleep and then put him in his bed.. and even then he'd wake up in the middle of the night crying and confused cause he wasn't where he fell asleep. So this is a major change for us. I'm so happy about it! If someone would've told me a few weeks ago that this was going to happen I would have told them that they're crazy. I seriously thought he was going to be sleeping with us until he was 5! Lol. I'm glad to say we've finally broke him from co-sleeping. It's nice to have our bed back again :-)

Oh how fun, SpongeBob & Princesses...co-existing!! Do your kids do ok sleeping in the same room?? When My two oldest boys were little (they are 17 mo. apart), I had them in the same room until one mornign I went in and my oldest son was in the crib laying on top of the baby...not intentionally trying to hurt him---but he sure could have, unitentionally!! :)

SORRY-- hope I didn't scare you!!
